FOX Attacks!: NH GOP Drops Out As Fox “Debate” Partner Over Ron Paul etc..

  • Linzack · 1 year ago
Seems they're dropping out is only symbolic... They're not asking their republican candidates not to appear... Ron Paul isn't a threat to democracy... he's a threat to limited democracy -- and that's what Republican candidates in this election fear... Ron Paul may make more sense than they do.

Let's just face it, Hunter and Paul have no real chance at the nomination. It's time to start narrowing the field and giving the real contenders more time to make their positions clear and/or fall on their faces.
  • dont · 1 year ago
Mate, stfu. How are they ever to have a chance if people like you just dismiss them. Isn't that what this debate is about? isn't this an election? no wonder America can't seem to avoid the hell it's slideing into....
  • Ron Paul Fan · 1 year ago
"Let's just face it, Hunter and Paul have no real chance at the nomination."

They said the same thing about bill clinton when he lost the caucus and look what happen to him - Remember the come back kid?
  • EileenMac · 1 year ago
Symbolic? And more! What it is a symbol of is the fact that this state's GOP is not going to let Faux news manipulate the process and determine whose voices can be heard.

At first I was disappointed that the NHGOP didnt make this move in the beginning but now I am glad because the last 10 days of negotiations, protest and news coverage has given this move the notoriety and power it deserves.

No matter what happens during this "interview" with the FAUX FIVE, the most important presence there is the one who was NOT invited, and Ron Paul will win the "debate" by default.

Ron Paul has just bought a whole hour of time on television at the same time "because he has the money" unlike the simpering cowardly Faux-sponsored candidates.

    Success is the best revenge!!!

The eloquent pandering, double talk, and bickering that both parties engage in (save Dr. Paul) is sickening. Not a single candidate is addressing solutions to issues directly, it's all verbose sophistry. Dr. Paul is a STATESMAN, all the rest, every single one of them, is a globalist, bought-and-paid-for-politician. It is sickening that Dr. Paul is being excluded from this, and every true American, who understands the principles that this country was founded on, whould be outraged. Anyhoo, I wish Cliff would come over, we could use a guy like him on our side. Down with Socialism! (you ALL know that is what Democrats are) Down with Tyranny (Every Republican except Dr. Paul) :-)
  • Eileen MacEnery · 1 year ago
Dr. Paul is taking the "high road" and, as such, shows his integrity and intelligence, while the Faux Five can wallow in the tiny back room that Fox says is "too small" to contain one more person. Well, who wants to "rub shoulders" with that bunch of phonies anyway. Im GLAD Ron Paul was excluded, and now he has bought a whole hour to himself...he doesnt need the "charity" of FoxNews like the others.

The only "low" standings that are coming out of THIS FauxPas is going to be the plummeting ratings of FauxNews, and the low revenues as their advertisers and supporters desert them.

    What are you talking about
"It's time to start narrowing the field and giving the real contenders more time" It just begin let's give everyone same time and keep it until the end until one wins. This country blows.
  • Calvin · 1 year ago
this is another example of a media outlet trying to shape our perception instead of trying to provide the data so we can decide for ourselves.
  • jeff · 1 year ago
I have been a registered Republican for over 30 years, but if Dr. Paul does not get the nomination (as some below have preordained) I will not be voting Republican! I am disgusted with the rest of the choices.
  • Paul · 1 year ago
Foxnews is making a huge mistake... I would hope one of the top republicans will drop out of the "Foxnews event" in protest.

Huck, you would get alot of free national press buy taking on foxnews... just a thought.
  • Michael · 1 year ago
What's really sad about "One of the best reasons for excluding Ron Paul" is that Dr. Paul is still ahead of Rudy in three out of the four categories, yet no one considers keeping him out. Eventually everyone will have to come to the conclusion that these analysts are either liars or incompetent; there is no way around it.

Let`s vote here and see what people want. Not what we know from the media. Vote here who you want to be president presidentofamerica.blogspot.com

FOX does not include Ron Paul in tonight's GOP forum and CNN decides to RERUN last night's GOP debate opposite FOX. Is MSNBC just stupid or something? Why doesn't MSNBC have their own interview with Ron Paul opposite of FOX and CNN? I'd watch it in a heartbeat!
  • will · 1 year ago
Ron Paul got a higher % of the Iowa primary than GIULIANI. WTF gives.

"Whatever organization you belong to, remember first and foremost that you're a white nationalist, then put aside your differences with one another and work together. Work together to strive to get someone in the Oval Office who agrees with much of what we want for our future. Look at the man, look at the issues, look at our future. Vote for Ron Paul, 2008."

    -- Stormfront (Neo-Nazi/White Supremacist Organization)

A great case can be made that Ron Paul is a racist. Whether he is or not, Ron Paul is an extremist, a conspiracy nut, and an outright dangerous lunatic when it comes to monetary, tax, and education policy.
  • Thomas · 1 year ago
In reply to John's comments below,

    1) If I am quoted calling you a lesbian, does that make you one?

    2) Did you type that quote from stormfront or cut and copy it?

A great case can be made that John Ehrenfeld is a disinfo BS atist. Whether he is or not, a neo-con nut, he is outright brainwashed by the TV or part of that system.
  • John Ehrenfeld · 1 year ago
Thomnas why don't you deal with the issue of what Ron Paul believes and who supports him instead of personally attacking me. Capable of that?

That quote is taken directly from the Stormfront web site. Does it not disturb you that Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists like Stormfront say they want to "get someone in the Oval Office who agrees with much of what we want for our future"?

    That's Ron Paul.
  • Razzorizzo · 1 year ago
Giuliani still leads in national polls. The candidates don't campaign in all 50 states.
There is still a long way to

Go to this link to see how the primaries work and how many states are involved in Super Tuesday.

This forum sucks without Ron Paul. Who better to discuss the economy than Dr. Paul? Fox messed up big time!
  • John Ehrenfeld · 1 year ago
Mandy, why do you think Paul is so qualified to discuss the economy? What are his positions on the economy that you like so much?
  • Grayson · 1 year ago
Ron Paul is a nut! Yeah lets do away with the IRS and replace it with nothing! Hooray! No more income taxes, instead, we will have TARIFFS!

Ron Paul is like the kid that told you to vote for him for SGA president because he would make Dr. Pepper come out of the water fountains.

Yes, not paying any federal taxes sounds like a good idea. But once you think about it for more than a couple of minutes, you realize what a ridiculous candidate Ron Paul is.
  • Sam · 1 year ago
@grayson: No, Ron Paul has always said that his more radical positions, like abolishing the IRS, are predicated by a shift in people's attitudes in terms of what they expect government to provide.

He's not proposing to get rid of the IRS overnight - he's saying that people need to realize that if they get a government whichs STOPS fighting expensive wars and STOPS expensive socialist domestic policies, THEN we can dramatically reduce our taxation and abolish the IRS.

Remember - your federal tax payments to the IRS do not "pave the roads" or pay for firemen, thats all your sales tax/property taxes/etc.
  • John Ehrenfeld · 1 year ago
Ron Paul is a strict Constitutionalist, a hallmark just like right-wing judicial despots like Scalia, Roberts and Thomas. Ron Paul thinks government is evil.

Paul would abolish the IRS and the Department of Education. He has said so.

Paul would dismantle Social Security by allowing young people to opt out. He has said so.

Paul is opposed to Medicare and supports Health Savings Accounts like Bush does. He has said so.

Paul believes in the abolition of the Department of the Interior and the Environmental Protection Agency. He has said so.

He opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. He has said so.

It's just hysterical seeing Ron Paul groupies try to spin him as being something other than the ultra right-wing, racist, libertarian nut case that he is.
  • Paul · 1 year ago
    John E.,

I hope he is able to do abolish all those things. Ron Paul is only dangerous if you are interested in maintaining corporate interests and enjoy seeing the increased poverty and wealth divide that all those programs have brought since their conception.

Almost all government controls and regulations are abused by the entities with enough lawyer power to figure out how - leaving the poor to suffer. This is as true with taxes as it is with welfare. Government isn't evil in essence but any government is corruptible. A larger, more powerful government is that much more easily corrupted.

Thomas's attack on you was justified as you make baseless insinuations. Sure, Stormfront supports Ron Paul. How the hell does that make Ron Paul a racist? I'm sure Stormfront appreciates his free market and immigration policies.

So bring on the ultra right-wing, libertarian nut-case. I'm convinced his one of the few sane people left on Capital Hill.
  • John Ehrenfeld · 1 year ago
    Paul,

Aside from opposing the Civil Rights Act of 1964, it also seems as if Dr. Paul was pretty clear as to what he thought about African-Americans when he was running for Congress in 1996. Take a look at these quotes from Ron Paul’s Newsletter as reported by Alan Bernstein of the Houston Chronicle and you decide. And don't give me the pathetic "oh a staffer wrote that Paul didn't know. It's his responsibility and no one buys it.

"If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be".

"Although we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers".

"Opinion polls consistently show that only about 5 percent of blacks have sensible political opinions, i.e. support the free market, individual liberty and the end of welfare and affirmative action".

"Politically sensible blacks are outnumbered as decent people".

"I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in the District of Columbia are semi-criminal or entirely criminal".

"We don't think a child of 13 should be held responsible as a man of 23. That's true for most people, but black males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult and should be treated as such".

"Complex embezzling is conducted exclusively by non-blacks".

How embarrassing is it to this country that a racist can actually be running for president and pulling in millions in campaign contributions. I have to think that many people just don’t know what Ron Paul believes and if they did, they would denounce him and ask for their money back.

He is also anti a woman's right to choose:

"Legislatively, we should focus our efforts on building support to overturn Roe v. Wade. Ideally this would be done in a fashion that allows states to again ban or regulate abortion".

Ron Paul is a fringe lunatic.
