FOX Attacks!: FOX ATTACKS! Iran

Bravo Robert and everyone at BNF. Well done.
  • Steve · 2 years ago
Are any of you folks noticing that the one Republican who will pull the troops out and avoid "entangling" foreign policies, is not getting any airtime on Fox (or the other networks)?

Google "Ron Paul" and see what I mean - he is the most searched Presidential candidate in both parties. He is also the onlyone with a platform that speaks to Democrats who feel the Congress has failed them and Republicans who feel Bush has failed them. We might actually have a chance to get this country back on track again...
  • Rahn · 2 years ago
Do Something... Good advise, join a Ron Paul Meetup Group, register Republican even if you don't want to, get out and work for Ron Paul... then Vote for Ron Paul. He can act as a block to this runaway neocon crazy stuff.

Don't Start a War With Iran
    by Rep. Ron Paul

Statement on H. Con. Res. 398: Expressing the concern of Congress over Iran's development of the means to produce nuclear weapons, 6 May 2004.
I rise in strong opposition to this ill-conceived and ill-timed legislation. Let's not fool ourselves: this concurrent resolution leads us down the road to war against Iran. It creates a precedent for future escalation, as did similar legislation endorsing "regime change" in Iraq back in 1998.

I find it incomprehensible that as the failure of our Iraq policy becomes more evident – even to its most determined advocates -we here are approving the same kind of policy toward Iran. With Iraq becoming more of a problem daily, the solution as envisioned by this legislation is to look for yet another fight. And we should not fool ourselves: this legislation sets the stage for direct conflict with Iran. The resolution "calls upon all State Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), including the United States, to use all appropriate means to deter, dissuade, and prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons..." Note the phrase "...use all appropriate means...."

Additionally, this legislation calls for yet more and stricter sanctions on Iran, including a demand that other countries also impose sanctions on Iran. As we know, sanctions are unmistakably a move toward war, particularly when, as in this legislation, a demand is made that the other nations of the world similarly isolate and blockade the country. Those who wish for a regime change in Iran should especially reject sanctions – just look at how our Cuba policy has allowed Fidel Castro to maintain his hold on power for decades. Sanctions do not hurt political leaders, as we know most recently from our sanctions against Iraq, but rather sow misery among the poorest and most vulnerable segments of society. Dictators do not go hungry when sanctions are imposed.

It is somewhat ironic that we are again meddling in Iranian affairs. Students of history will recall that the US government's ill-advised coup against Iranian leader Mohammed Mossadegh in 1953 and its subsequent installation of the Shah as the supreme ruler led to intense hatred of the United States and eventually to the radical Islamic revolution of 1979. One can only wonder what our relations would be with Iran if not for the decades of meddling in that country's internal affairs. We likely would not be considering resolutions such as this. Yet the solution to all the difficulties created by our meddling foreign policy always seems to always be yet more meddling. Will Congress ever learn?

I urge my colleagues to reject this move toward war with Iran, to reject the failed policies of regime-change and nation-building, and to return to the wise and consistent policy of non-interventionism in the affairs of other sovereign nations.

    Fantastic Video!

This piece really tells the story of what a corrupt tool for propaganda Fox is. It also should tell people that our battlelines do not end with Bush and other Republicans. It is the media that is our biggest threat and that starts with Fox. We must now resolve to stop being accomplices in our own downfall...

Detox from Fox: Starve The Beast
I have compiled extensive documentation to prove that appearing on Fox is not only pointless, it is overtly harmful to progressive causes. It is long past time for Democrats and progressive to recognize this simple fact and resolve to stop allowing themselves to be used for target practice by disingenuous pseudo-journalists whose purpose is to defame and defeat them in politics and public opinion.

No more capitulation by our representatives and Fox's competitors. It cannot and must be tolerated. Do not cooperate with Fox in any way. Just say no!

Thank you for this much-needed video. For those interested in a psychological analysis of warmongering, I have recently completed a 10-minute online video entitled “Resisting the Drums of War.” It examines how the Bush administration has promoted the misguided and destructive war in Iraq by targeting five core concerns that often govern our lives--concerns about vulnerability, injustice, distrust, superiority, and helplessness. Looking ahead, the continuing occupation of Iraq--or an attack on Iran--will likely be sold to us in much the same way. The video examines these warmongering appeals and how to counter them. It’s available for viewing at www.eidelsonconsulting.com

Why is it that Giuliani gets a pass from the press when it comes to foriegn affairs experience. He was only a mayor. It is coming out that he made many mistakes the weeks following 9/11. It was Mayor Bloomberg who did all of the rebuilding work in NY. Obama is called on the carpet for a lack of experience. If you read both of their policy papers dealing with foriegn affairs you would see Obama is knowledgeable, intelligent and can be a real uniter - none of those words fit Giuliani

    Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

My fellow Americans: We cannot bomb Iran to peace

The news has been filled with stories about Iran's nuclear program -- and the possibility that the Pentagon has operational plans to use bunker-buster tactical nuclear weapons to destroy it ("Magazine Reports Iran Attack Planning: Sources Say Nuclear Attacks on Sites Not Ruled Out," April 9).

Pittsburgh's AM radio news station, KQV, did a poll on April 11. The question was, "Should the U.S. consider using nuclear bombs to halt Iran from developing a nuclear weapon?" This is both Orwellian and nightmarish. There is a slogan in "1984" -- "War Is Peace." It reminds me of a jingoistic bumper sticker: "Nuke Their Ass and Take Their Gas."

Although the poll is not scientific, I found the result shocking. Fifty-seven percent of 2,386 respondents -- that's 1,363 people -- would support using nuclear weapons on Iran to prevent them from developing nuclear weapons. I haven't seen much analysis in the news about the consequences of such an attack. For example, how are 1.2 billion Muslims going to react if a major Islamic nation is attacked by America with weapons of nuclear force?

Who are these people who voted yes? Are they just ignorant and scared, or are they card-carrying members of the rapture right ("end-timers," like Bush). Or both? Whatever they are, I'm terrified of them, and scared for the future of the world, for good reason.

If we use nuclear weaponry against Iran, then Russia and China, who need Iran's oil, will have to choose sides. A picture of how WWIII could unfold is not hard to draw from this scenario.

This should be front page news in every newspaper in the english speaking world:

The only way the NeoCons will retain their power after the upcoming elections is if we are in a new war (presumably with another oil rich nation, i.e.., Iran).

Otherwise they are out and they know it. They have the power and they don't intend on losing it.

It's not about Democrat vs. Republican anymore. Check your premise. Look deeper. It's NeoCons selling out the USA for profit. NeoCons have taken over the former Republican party. This fight has been going on for years now and the Democrats seem oblivious to it. The NeoCons are in the ring, gloves off throwing punches, bullying everyone around. Meanwhile their opponents, with gloves on, are whining that the opponent is not following the rules. It's time to turn tables on the bully.

But all is not lost. America can be saved.

For help to combat the NeoCons you need to get above their advanced rhetoric. Wake up! This war is ON.

Get educated and never forget we simple people of America hold the keys to their power. Here's some sources to get started:

Seriously, someone, please for God sakes, after American Idol, after House M.D., after Survivor, just shut off the T.V. If you feel the absolute need to continue watching something, switch to PBS, if you want to learn something other than what this ridiculous showtime journalism is teaching watch the History Channel. Other networks, do not doom this country by following Fox, if you want to to see a huge spike in your stocks do something. Obviously Fox will once again only do spin stories, send out some journalists to do some actual reporting you can come with some inane headlines of your own...'"Fox News, Could it kill you?" Find out more after the break. '
I'm sure you'll get a billion viewiers, since that's all you are interested in anyways.
    Now onto the populous...
As the housing market crashes, stocks will soon crash, foreign oil will skyrocket once the sectarian wars dominate the Middle-East, and the only thing that this economy can't handle is a larger deficit, and another War. Do you really feel like thrusting another 8 years (Because no one every changes office during a war) to someone, just because they take the stand against some country that poses no threat to you whatsoever. The difference between Iraq and Iran is that well, we have a depleted volunteer army, meanwhile they have been stockpiling on refugees that hate America and Koloshnikovs, so unless you want to leave your white-collar job for the hot desserts and the cold morgues stop, I repeat for the last time, stop, watching Fox News.

The one thing Fox does that the others who march lock step with the far left doesnt do is show both sides. If Fox is rated #1 out of the cable news outlets, why wouldnt Hillary, Obama, etc go on to talk about what they would do if they were President? Why are they so afraid to appear? Why were the Lefties afraid to let Fox host a debate and ask questions? Hmmmm. Nice try on the video...just further evidence that what the left cant control, they will bash.

I support international sanctions against the Iranian villan. I support aggressive posturing toward the Ahmaadenijad,,, Why dont we just take him at his word... that he intends to destroy Israel and the proud western capitalist system? If we took Hitler's word when he said he wanted to dominate Europe, perhaps millions would still be alive!

The French people finally grew tired of their socialist, relativist state and elected a pro-western, pro-capitalist leader. Perhaps they too know that the Islamic terror will never stop unless it is stopped.

Rather than outright war, we should surreptitiously assasinate the Mullahs and Ahmadenijad.

This site however is elementary and silly. If you think that one cable news outlet is so powerful, then shame on you. THINK FOR YOURSELF! Do not be afraid to think like an individual and not this leftist-totalitarian propaganda. Freedom Forever!

Obviously Bush and Karl Rove did 9-11. Truth be known to all! We already killed Osama and they pretend like we didn't to instill fear in everyone so they can rule forever. There will be no election in 2008. Bush will annoint himself King and Fox News is evil.

Act now before it is too late! Take down the capitalist system. We must return to worshipping the land, the fruit and the vine. Industry is evil! I hate and fear technology because they can watch everything we do! Only living in a community setting where everything is shared is moral. Capitalism is immoral.

This all started with the evil Alexander Hamilton! We never should have gotten rid of the Articles of Confederation. Since then, America is an evil nation that has only left slavery, genocide of Indians, and war war war. War never solves anything... We never should have attacked Germany in WWII, because they never attacked us, Japan did. Japan only attacked us because of our policies of invading the Phillipines and Hawaii. Hawaii should succeed from the Union because it was captured through war and murder. We must return Arizona, Texas, Southern California and New Mexico to Mexico. It is immoral because these lands were captured by war.

Fox news only does the bidding of King Bush because it is a conspiracy of the highest order.

I think Fox News people have shifted from Wikipedia Edits to working overtime on this site. Which merely allows those with the ability to think independently, another inside look at, more of the same from Fox News.

You know when the Fox Attacks Action is effective when Fox supporters attack a message forum with the same ridiculous propaganda they spew on air.

Unfortunate that IP numbers are not visible. Only then could we at least track back the organized negatives to the source, which my guess is Fox News.Because anyone with a brain knows just how Fox News operates. And it's certainly not from an honest journalistic viewpoint.I've always wondered if Fox Defenders/Supporters get paid to post.In any event, they(FN) must be working over time on this site. Which means Fox Attacks Action has hit the nail on the head and is doing a great job and is seen as a threat to FN .Also, by seeing the negative responses, it allows us to gauge the Actions effectiveness. Judging by the FN supporters responses, I would say this action is right on target.

Thank you Robert Greenwald , U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and Brave New Films.

I just can’t believe how crazy this website is. I keep looking at it and pinching myself because I think this must be a dream. To accuse Fox News of such bias reporting while cherry picking clips and playing them out of context is completely and utterly flawed.

As for attacking Iran, if you think gas prices are high now, just wait till Iran controls the whole Middle East. Some comments said we are at war for oil. I don’t know if it is true but if it is, governments since the beginning of time have looked out for the interests of their country. America is simply looking out for our interests. Most people complain about the price of gas, but are so narrow minded they don’t understand how much more it will cost when we have fanatics punishing America because we are simply the best.

Other comments spoke about how bad we are. So I ask, if America is so bad, why stay? I know that this message will be attacked or removed from the website but that shows how truly intolerant you are. America is the greatest country in the world. If many of you had your way, America would be turned into a quasi-socialist state, which would destroy the best things in America.

We stay because we hope to help change it back to the pre-bush era. Bush is not a republican, he's a hardcore neocon and everyone like him is BAD for America.
As for you why do we stay comment: If for some reason this administration stayed in office for another couple terms, I'm sure more than a couple people would move to another country. For now it's more like a situation where a wife stays with an abusive-alcoholic husband in hopes that maybe just maybe he'll change(It's usually a losing battle, but when you love something it's hard to just let go).

"As for attacking Iran, if you think gas prices are high now, just wait till Iran controls the whole Middle East."

You weren't implying that the threat of gas prices going up is a good reason to go to war with Iran, were you? Seriously?!

Funny how Tyler compares Americans to Nazis. America and the Brits were the ones who stood up to Nazis while the rest of Europe wanted to appease and talk to Hitler. Just remember if the world stepped in when Hitler first started a weapons build up in the 1930’s millions of people wouldn’t have been exterminated. But to many on the left, the motto is peace at any price, right? While that might be good for you, but don’t sign me up.

No, I wouldn't say invade Iran to change oil prices, but I do say leaving Iraq will be giving Iran most of the world's oil. And it is almost impossible to drill anywhere in the United States because the Hippies don't like it.

Personally I like nuclear power. I figure if France gets 80% of its electrical power from nuclear energy, why can’t we? If it is safe enough for France, it is plenty safe for us.

If this video surprised you ... you can just take a second to call yourself an idiot if it took you, your whole life to realize how the news operates.

Iraq and Iran is linked to Al Qaeda ... they are all linked together not just Iraq and Iran. You may say something right now that we are stupid to invade ... but that because everyone can only criticize ... Even we have invaded Germany on time we would not have WWI and WWII ... if we have invaded N Korea during Vietman, we wouldn't have them as a threat with a nuclear bomb today, etc. etc.

Americans are very self minded ... they never think about the future ... they can only criticize .

    in response to Ed.

"As for attacking Iran, if you think gas prices are high now, just wait till Iran controls the whole Middle East. Some comments said we are at war for oil. I don’t know if it is true but if it is, governments since the beginning of time have looked out for the interests of their country. America is simply looking out for our interests. Most people complain about the price of gas, but are so narrow minded they don’t understand how much more it will cost when we have fanatics punishing America because we are simply the best."

I'm also a former E-5 nuke who went on into Special Warfare. EVERY guy on a nuke sub has a clearance. That doesn't mean they're all privy to the latest intel on combat operations. You're down in a sub, removed from actual combat in the theater of operation, and you have the gall to ridicule a Marine who is probably on his second or third combat tour and knows first-hand what's going on?

Regardless of Fox's spin on things, Iran is a problem that isn't just going to go away.

It blows me away that you idiots spend so much time focusing your efforts on what a news network does. Why don't you look at what the left and the right have to say about something and make your own, objective, opinion, instead of dismissing everything that is said because they are warmongers.

Although, I suspect the average, and even above-average, American is not smart enough to accomplish this.

    Dearest Ed et. al alike,
Clean up your own act first.
If you go by the bible then read the part
with "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" etc.

    threaded from thinkprogress.org

    Because of the current situation,
if USA takes on Iran, USA will be
be the bad guys and not the good
    guys.

    The world, Western Europe included,
is out of good will towards USA.

An attack on Iran at this point in time,
will be looked upon as an act of war,
    where USA are the wrongdoers.

For this the UN security council should
exist, assuring fairness for all, and all
members should fight to hold off the
    wrongdoer.

USA have two important focus points
to concentrate on now and they are:
    * domestic economy
without using military policy as a mean.
thats cheating. use fiscal or monetary.
    * foreign policy
    clean up your mess.

USA will not be given a free pass the next
time. Unless USA cleans up good, and stop
thinking they are more than others when
they are not, and moves out and change
strategy, they’ll keep accellerating on a
    blind road.

Unless USA plan to take on the entire world.

Else, USA have truly become the Nazis they
    appearently were fighting last century,
and the Nazis won, and are now in power,
    stronger than ever.
  • Ed · 2 years ago
    In response to Joe,

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone"

That is all fine and dandy until the Nazi kick open doors and murdered anybody that looked like a non-Aryan. As many on the left point out, we are not a theocracy. And using the Bible to dictate public policy would be an ignorant idea.

But you can sleep tight, because our vigilant military force will protect you.

sometimes I think USA is warmongering for the same reason the Administration like to throw war parties.

maybe the Administration think that being at war, will hold off voters from going against them, because of the fear of rocking the boat.

maybe the Administration think that being at war,
will hold off the rest of the world from going against them, because of the fear of rocking the boat.

maybe the Administration simply plan to take over the entire world, using the war machine, and all debts and economical issues that among others have arisen from financing the war party itself, will be forgotten.

To Rick and those that continue to type the hype,

You're all so, busy and angry it seems. Actually, caustic is a better word. Why?

First you want us to think that you've cornered the market on facts and historical data. Then you insult us with first grade school level antics, and if that fails, then you go for the jugular....and Rick wants us to eat What ? Fecal Matter? Seriously, how old are you?

I doubt by typing such cookbook posts, anyone reading them and has neurons is about to do an about face, based on your thoughts. Sorry, angry caustic posters, your tactics have not worked in the past and they certainly are not going to work now. But I have to say, after all, you're like the pink drumming bunny: You just keep going and going and ..... However, it does not place you in a very good light. If all you can add to the debate is to tell other's to eat fecal matter and bomb everyone into the stone age or else gas prices will rise? Not for nothing BUT! and I'm not a mil. person,or a Psychiatrist but that approach really makes no sense and you've got some anger issues that ought to be dealt with. But far be it from me to attempt to give you a dose of sanity, as it would be futile at this point. However, let me clue you into a reality, You Are Part Of A Tiny Minority in terms of your statements and approach to communications, which is a good thing for the rest of the world, if we are to survive as a species.

But hey, thanks for at least thinking of what I ought to eat for lunch. But, I'll pass, thanks anyway.Have a good day and don't forget to get that anger checked, it's not really that healthy.

Who is John Galt? I will tell you right now. He wasn't someone that took things for granted and strived to learn as much as possible and be the best that he could (the American dream) but he also came from a historical perspective that recognized the potential for America to become like a Russia in which Ayn Rand left. She would never have suggested that you go and read up on conspiracy theories that have been shown to be foolish by science. She would have suggested that you delve deeper, which you have said, into the real problem and focus on fixing it instead of urging different parties to fight amongst themselves. Having said this, if you think one established party is selling out America over another, you are entirely wrong.

Who is John Galt? It obviously isn't you.

But it certainly, there are enough in the old media, not just in ABC, but in old media generally, that it tilts the coverage quite frequently, in many issues, in a liberal direction, which is completely improper....It’s an endemic problem. People i have seen America be destroyed by its leaders, but i have also seen other countries be destroyed by their leaders. Communist China have a horrible government that is much worse then america, In Iran and India religion rules the government, woman are treated worse in India then Iran.

Tell me If there were no leaders, there would be no war. People would live their own lives in the way they want. Religion is just a tool for control just as the government is and the Law.

    Police are your slavers.

I live in Australia and i have watched the news all over the world, i have read history and i have seen the cycle of hatred and religion that is constantly played out. Who is to blame, the leader and still you bow to a 'false god' Who you call bush.

Remove the shackles of what they have put in your mind as The only reality, and seek something of your own making. How can anyone truly be good when you are forced to be?

My oh my, so some Conservative group has seen this website as a threat and sent out their cronies to bash it by leaving COMMENTS?

I have to say that this short film is spot on. Fox News portraits a skewed view of the world and the news that is intended to enrage and bias it's viewers while also comforting the closed minded, ultra conservatives and the close minded Christians. Not all Christians, mind you, but a few of the loud-mouthed Bible thumpers. Now, I'm a baptized Catholic, so you can't really blame the above statement on religious bias.

I've already stopped watching Fox News, I have a long standing hatred for Bill O'Riley and his hour of hate, and I find the business practices of Fox News to be atrocious. I more or less end up watching the reports from several news stations such as CNN, MSNBC, and BBC and then finding a nice medium upon which the truth most likely resides. Its a nice place here in the middle, some of you should try it.

I'll try to help you understand the situation. Iran and Iraq share a roughly 900-mile border, which is routinely crossed by nomadic herders, smugglers, etc. You can't just "close" a border. If you could, we wouldn't have millions of illegal immigrants in our own country.

There's some good heat going on here in this blog. Lots of passion on many sides of many issues. Some great ideas, some good and some wacko.

Here's something IMPORTANT that I think we can all agree upon:

Unless you are a foreign infidel, then you are an American.

If you are an American, you must agree that INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM, the RULE of LAW and the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION are of paramount importance to all of us. ALL other issues are of subsequent importance.

Much of the arguments here in this blog are well meaning. American's want what's best for themselves, their beloved country and the world. Everyone has a right to say how they think problems should be abated. If you are a TRUE American, then there are NO sides to take anymore. There is only "How do we make American the BEST and lead the world by example?"

Over the last 200 + years since the creation of the CONSTITUTION (our FOUNDING DOCUMENT) the power elite has lead us down the path of corruption, greed and enslavement.

We have been lead down this course by so much greed, lies, distortion and fabrication, it's no wonder we're all pissed. The answer is to strip away all the crap, clean house before it's too late. But HOW, WHEN and WHY?

The time for a REVOLUTION in THINKING is NOW. We cannot afford to "stay the course."

The when is the upcoming election.

You shouldn't even have to ask "Why?"

Be brave, stand up and FIGHT for FREEDOM at all cost our founding fathers said.

You NEED to read the constitution and the BILL OF RIGHTS!

BE INFORMED! Get off the couch and use the BRAIN to THINK. OPEN your mind to new ideas from all sides. USE LOGIC AND REASON to deduce. LISTEN to your physiology, does your answer FEEL right?

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

I have been on this planet 49 years. Lucky as hell to have lived all of them in the USA. And I would, at the drop of a hat, fight and die to support the CONSTITUTION of the United States of America against ALL enemies foreign and DOMESTIC (911 NeoCons of late). I'm sure many of you would too.

But I would not fight or support unconstitutional wars against sovereign countries UNLESS absolute proof (FACT) are in-hand. I would not fight for corrupt leaders nor would I fight for Big Oil and other dishonest corporations.

I realize we MUST have a strong NATIONAL DEFENSE. Some recently have confused DEFENSE with OFFENSE. We are not the WORLD police. IF ALL nations trade with one another OPENLY and FAIRLY then instead of enemies, we have TRADING PARTNERS. It makes sense not to kill your customer, doesn't it?

Some of you are so addicted to your cars you can't see straight. If you think that you HAVE to fight for OIL then do some homework. There are other ways to fuel a car. Try Natural Gas at $2.00 a gallon. Domestic sourced, no blood, ultra clean, abundant supplies. Do the research, it's all out there on the web. Be aware that Big Oil does not want you to know these things...

Again, BE INFORMED! USE the BRAIN to THINK!!

    * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Our BEST hope to move back into a new era of civilization, in my opinion is to VOTE FOR RON PAUL (I will) after you have studied his platform with an OPEN mind.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself-FDR. War mongering, drumming up fear and basically pandering to our irrational senses seems to be what fox news is all about. Never mind using logic, rationality

--------------------------- and balanced reporting when it comes to the news. Its much easer to just repeat slogans, demonize and generally marginalize anyone who has a different world view. The nazies realized this years ago. If you repeat a lie enough people will believe it-Gerbils. And another thing to remember, patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Fox is not news, its propaganda, its a mouthpiece for corporations who are getting very rich and powerful because of the war. Please, don't let this happen again, we need to band together using firm rationality and stop this saber rattiling. We can do this. War stiffels progress and evolution while destroying families and life. War solves nothing, it just opens the gates to hell, literialy. One would think that we as a whole would have learned from the mistakes of the past. When we haven't we are doomed to repeat them.

The only way to explain FOX's success is the prevailing idiocy of the American public. Slogans, instead of substance. Propaganda, instead of honest information.

Hey, let's give up all the few remaining rights we have left cause I am sure that will make us much safer!!

I do watch Faux nooz occasionally for a good laugh. I especially like how they refuse to report on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as if they weren't happening. So when did all options in life turn into black and white? Take a look back in recent history and see who brought up the notion of "you are either with us or against us?". I used to think that the US was about having the freedom to express yourself and not be condemned for your thoughts - Regardless of what those thoughts are.

You don't have to support extreme right or extreme left views. You can actually have a middle of the road view on things.

My advice is that I would fear those who target people who speak their minds in a rational and calm way. Debate is a two way street - When you silence one side, resort to belittling or simply laugh at them, it's no longer a debate.

When the US loses the ability to debate with itself, then there will be no use in defending it anymore as it will have become the thing it so desperately tried to destroy.

    Is anyone really surprised?

I think Gulianni will win the election in 2008 via another rigged ballot. And nothing short of all out rebellion will remove him.

At one time in our country's history, men were of the opinion "Give me Liberty, or give me death!". Now we're more of the opinion of "Man that sucks... Is it time for American Idol yet?"

I've read posts elsewhere by democrats that oppose Ron Paul because he will essentially dismantle most of the goverment. But what they're failing to realize is that when it is as bad as it is now, it needs to be dismantled so that it can be re-built more efficiently.

There's not enough free thinkers who are registered as Republicans who can vote in the primary. Hence, Ron Paul will not likely win, regardless of how much he deserves to, and how much as we need him to.

We've got a dark road ahead of us folks. Time to put down the Cable remote and do something about it.

CyberCod your right-on, just like this video is.

JG119 you are right about Saddam. He was a terrorist to his own people and neighbors. But the world is full of bullies, and the great fallacy of your belief is that we Americans have to police all these psychopaths! We pay dearly in $$ and blood, while the other nations watch re-runs of Survivor. It's high time for some other country to be "World Police." How many more countries have to be overthrown? At what point are we finished? If you're a sovereign country and you don't agree with us – you're next!

Saddam has nothing to do with 911 and this new wave of FAUX propaganda selling a new IRAN war.

I have an idea. If Ron Paul can't win in Nov '08, I know how every AMERICAN can WIN. The philosophy in "Atlas Shrugged" is objectivism. Ron Paul's philosophy is constitutionalism. The two are not that far apart.

    Stay with me here...

We need to learn Ron Paul's philosophy. He and his supporters should start a education process to train a new wave of young true-to-the-vision "Constitutionalists" who will run for all elected offices such as Congress, Governor, State Legislatures and President in '12 and beyond. This might be the only way to end the strangle hold that the bogus two-party system has on America. Maybe then we can overthrow the SHADOW GOVERNMENT from the inside-out.

    Who is John Galt?

You say it's not that we have to police the world, but the truth is that we DO have to police the world, because no one else can do it, and the UN doesn't have the backbone or the power to do it. The US, like many other major developed countries around the world, does not exist just within its borders. We, like most nations, depend upon free trade with other countries. We finally learned after two world wars that, like it or not, we had to be prepared to defend not only our own country, but those of our allies, because in most cases they were unable to defend themselves from all external threats. If you think 9-11 was bad, imagine how many attacks would occur if we decided to mothball our warships and just stay at home. No other country has the ability to prevent attackers from roaming the oceans of the world at will and attacking other countries.

As for those who say Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11, I'll bet you didn't know that Hussein ordered the aquisition and installation of a complete Boeing 727 at a facility 30 miles south of Baghdad, and that the 9-11 hijackers used that very training facility to practice for their attack. He also routinely provided safe haven and use of training facilities to Al Qaeda terrorists.

Oh wait, I forgot.....George Bush personally wired the explosives in the twin towers and the Pentagon, and pressed the detonator button himself. And he somehow convinced several pilots to commit suicide by flying their planes and hundreds of passengers into the buildings at the precise moment that he triggered the explosive charges.

I like Tyler's comment, stop being NAZIs. Our Bush Republican friends want killing and murder at any cost. What I would ask for you Bush enablers is to go to your nearest Veterans Administration and visit the brain trauma center and talk to some of the patients from Bush's war. That is why websites like Foxattacks are exposing the cowardly antics of FN. FN does not have any personal risk but gains a whole bunch by being Bush's mouth piece. This war has a huge hidden cost born by people from middle America and not at FN.

Another crusade at FN: Blame the individual who signed the dotted line on the defaulted mortgages and not the mortgage company and don't ask the government for help. However, in the same breath the FN Bush enablers push for more support in Iraq to the tune of billions per month. Let's face it this Bush crowd just don't like Americans.

I really enjoyed Dessert Storm. It was so good I almost didn't mind missing Appetizer Storm and Entree Storm!

    /sarc

Boy are we in trouble when folks who can't spell "desert" correctly feel compelled to bloviate about their militaristic wet dreams.

Interesting selection of, um, "facts" there BTW. You forgot to mention it was all Bill Clinton's fault.
  • Max · 2 years ago
    Oh goody! More made-up "facts"!

In this episode, "TJ" tells us that:

"For over 40 years before Fox News, we had to listen to the left-wing rants of CBS, ABC, CNN, etc."

For anyone interested in actual, you know, facts, the FNC was launched in 1996.

    CNN was launched in 1980.

So not that you had to, but if you wanted to one could only have watched (or as you put it, listened to) CNN for ~16 yrs prior to FNC.

That's closer to four years than forty. In case you're mathematically (as well as factually) challenged.

It's one thing to disagree and have a debate. It's another matter when some individuals are void of historical data and cannot participate in an open debate with their brains. But do so with their spoon fed emotions. It seems as though, many that object to the Fox Attack Action, are so quick to point out only pieces of history... out of context, when it serves their purpose. Keywords only.Which is exactly what Fox News has done for years. Once called upon to explain their statements, they seem to resort to name calling tantrums.

All in all, if we cannot get it together on a message forum, then we have not a ghost of a chance of getting it together globally. And that is a very sad commentary on where our society is right now.It also shows how conditioning with sound bytes, slogans and slants, effects one's ability to think independently. It also makes people feel threatened when oppositional views are stated that include historical facts, which are ignored. I see that some become so upset that they roll play the news media personalities they view each day and repeat verbatim the myths, misinformation and deliberate falsehoods. But for the life of me, I cannot understand why.

Perhaps the answer is simple. Those that continue to repeat the mantra , really do not have any idea of what this is all about. Unable to see the larger picture. Except for the negatives that they've swallowed hook line and sinker. So Maybe Fox News did not create these individuals mind set, Fox News merely knew that the mind set existed and played it up for all it was worth. Now those individuals are stuck in a time machine that makes little sense to the majority of people today. So the mantra continues here, and it's due in part to the hatred that exist . Fox News merely feeds that hate, ignorance and arrogance. Fortunately, the numbers are being reduced daily and people are waking up from their self imposed state of self righteousness. I hope. Because the world is a far larger place than what Fox Viewers see and live in.It's not all about you. It's about the entire globe and that globe includes a diverse population of many innocent individuals that have been used as scape goats by for the small amount of FOX Viewers that continue to be cheerleaders in a world they know nothing about. Because it scares them.Isolationists to a degree with a flair for killing everything under the sun.Simply because they want to?

Our society is very ill right now and in need of help. We need more actions like Fox Attacks !Iran. Not more Bombs!

The number of illiterate and unintelligent opinions on this site is appalling. The sooner the majority of mankind accepts that there is no God telling them they're superior to others and that they should kill those who disagree with their particular "faith," the sooner we can all live in peace and harmony. If you really know history, you know that most wars (I repeat, MOST, not all) have been fought over religious differences.

Quit behaving like primitive apes, believing that some invisible, all-powerful being is there to control you, save you, and give you everlasting life (or Paradise with 72 virgins.) It's primitive, backward and superstitious behavior that we must outgrow if we are to survive and prosper.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

The historical count given in this article about Iran's revolution of 1979 is misleading.

The 1979 revolution of the Religious Mafia in Iran had very little or nothing to do with the CIA's support of the Shah back in 1953.

The so-called recolutionary demonstrators who were chanting "Death to Shah" and "death to the USA" had no knowledge of the socio-political landscape of 1953 !!!!

The young students and the unemployed chanting anti Shah and anti USA slogans on the streets of Teheran those days, were simply frustrated by the economic conditions and the everlasting inflation of those days in Iran. I was a student in Teheran back then and I clearly remember the motives of the demonstrators and their slogans.

Ayatollah Khomeini entered Teheran, flown on an AirFrance aircraft, with his close Iranian aids and a well-hidden small army of 3000 Palestinian terrorists. The central headquarter of the elite forces of Shah's special forces was invaded by these Palestinian terrorist group. The fact that the Palestinian and the Lebanese terrorists are currntly engaged in protecting the religious mafia in Teheran is a well-kept secret. In all these past visits that I have had to Teheran recently I have seen presence of some mysterious special force on street corners in Teheran. These masked armed men and women do not speak Farsi. They all speak Arabic with one-another!!!!!!

Can we please ask the Democrats in the United States to stop hiding the truth about the Iranian-Palestinian revolution of the religious mafia?

It would be nice if authors like Ron Paul and the Democrats put the FACTS on the table instead of helping the Palestinians to rule Iran.

We Iranians are sick of the Arab rule in our country. We do not need the Arab religion and we do not need the support of the Palestinian terrorists of the government of religious terror in Teheran.

The Iranian women want their freedom from this archaic Arab custom of covering their heads. Iranian young girls and women have proven in these past three decades of the Arab mafia rule in Iran their total disagreement with the Islamic code of dress for the women. The women in Iran have shown their disapproval of this barbaric religion over and over in spite of arrests and imprisonments and executions and stoning ceremonies in public.

I think it is time for the Democrats to show their support for the Iranian women by expressing the facts about Iran and the Islamic religion of terror and discrimination.

Islam is a purely Arab problem and needs to be shipped back to the Arab nations for debate and reforms. This religion of secrecy and mafia brotherhood as is now, should be stopped being forced upon the Iranians, especially the women.

Islam discriminates disgustingly against the women and although I am a man, I do not see any reason whatsoever why the women in Iran must have understanding for this terror religion of the Arabs and accept it in their daily lives and suffer in Iran in every minute they live.

The terrorist regime of the Palestinian-Iranian Islamist mafia in Teheran has an armed force of larger than several Arab countries in size!!! Giving Atomic Warfare to this force means suicide for Israel and the Europe. USA will come next. The writer uses the terminology "social fascists" above. It would be interesting to ask him what would he call the current Iranian regime???? What terminology does he adopt for the Hizbullah in Lebanon and the Palestinian terrorists?

We would like to know what the above writer and the Democrats think of millions of moslems across the World(including me) who have no support for islamic fundamentalism and the islamist mafia in Iran and Lebanon.

These are interesting points for an open discussion.

    Sincerely,

    Shahab Derhami

Ahmadinejad to stay in New York for two days before heading to Venezuela, Iranian news agency reports

Dudi Cohen Published: 09.14.07, 21:15 / Israel News

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will arrive in New York on September 24 in order to attend the United Nation's 62nd General Assembly session, the Iranian news agency Fars reported Friday.

According to the report, Ahmadinejad will stay in the city for two days and will be accompanied by a high-level delegation. This will be the Iranian president's third visit to the United States since his election in 2005.

Report: US crafting Iran bombing plan / Yitzhak Benhorin

Fox News reports US officials seriously contemplating attack on Iran's nuclear program after Germany withdraws support for more sanctions
    Full story

In addition to delivering a speech at the UN General Assembly, Ahmadinejad is also expected to meet with other heads of states and with official Iranian representatives at the UN headquarters and Iranians living in the US.

Ahmadinejad is then expected to head to Venezuela for a meeting with his anti-American ally, President Hugo Chavez.

Last year, the Iranian leader criticized the UN Security Council and slammed its permanent members, the US and Britain, for "committing crimes" in Iraq and Afghanistan, saying that therefore the Security Council and the sanctions it imposed on his country over its nuclear plan had no legal validation.

Where all victims of ignorance generated by people with power. Who are these people, its more complicated than you think. Inform yourselves, because during our whole lives we've been lied to, our parents have been lied to and their parents also. You think thats B.S. Why are there wars. Why is there famine in so many countries when we eat to much and end up throwing allot away.
The same people who are responsible for creating this deadly unbalance in our global economy are the same people responsible for lying to you you're whole life. They're not republicans, they're not democrats, they're elite, wealthy and powerful individuals who want you constantly fighting over who is responsible for the war in Iraq, poverty, pollution etc. All I hear is Democrat this and Republican that. Can't anyone sit back and see that its a never ending battle, that the problem is so deeply routed in our civilization that the constitution has to change to make anything better. Duh of course not our constitution is perfect. Wrong how could the founding fathers predict what would happen several years after their death, they can't.

One of the hardest things to do is to accept that something you believe in very strongly is the root
of many problems in the world. America is a beautiful, glorious and fascinating country. It is
the land of unlimited possibilities. But at what price? Because of our long time fueled ignorance towards the outside world, we feel as though we have this god given right to eat whatever we want, use what ever we want and abuse whatever we want.

We, our civilization has become so powerful and ignorant that we can manipulate, abuse and destroy well established societies that lived in harmony without it even making it to the press. Some of those societies where middle eastern. They had a well balanced way of living well before Christianity started. There where lots of rules that appear to be harsh but that contributed to who they where as Muslims. Then one day westerners(Americans) come and tell them that the
way they live is wrong and that they want their oil so that they can continue exploiting the world
of what is pure and simple.

Is it a surprise that a corporately controlled news agency would promote another stupid war for Oil? NO, this problem or disease that we have cannot be fixed by accusing liberal or conservative, left or right. It is be realizing that the problem is deeply rooted in who we are as a people, as the American people. We the people need to regain control of our land to ensure prosperity and peace. The powerful and the wealthy need to be taken down from power. We can create a real democracy so that the words "strong and free"
    have meaning.

I welcome a U.S. attack on Iran. Realizing the consequences for Iranian civilians(deaths, infrastructure, and economic damage), and the deaths of American soldiers, I say 'go for it'. I understand this is counter-intuitive for most of Robert Greenwald's viewers/readers, but I know nothing will hasten the end of the United States neo-Colonialism so quickly as the devasating blowback of a U.S. military stike against Iran.

Saying that, I hope it is conventional and non-nuclear. The fallout from a nuclear attack is self-evident

    Respectfully,

    JeannieD
  • Germanicus24 · 2 years ago
    JeannieD,

Its been calculated some one million Iranian civilians will be murdered in a strike against Iran. And you say "go for it" so it all ends more quickly.

How frivolous people can be with the lives of millions of innocents. The people at least Im against of do that: To play with the lives of human beings. People here, searching for ways to stop all that are supposed to be slightly different, dont you think?

The war in Iran CAN BE stopped. It just takes the determination of people. Saying "go for it" equates remaining silent under all unjustices in the world. I assure you the last thing that will come out from such an attitude is peace.

    Respectfully as well

Every single news organization skews and attacks who ever they want in what ever format they want. That's the beauty of free press! CNN attacks different people according to their own interests just as NBC and CBS do. None of them are special in anyway. They all attack so each one deserves a website. If you disagree with what FOX says, just ignore it. This website is asinine unless you make one for CNN, oh wait CNN attacks republicans. You wouldn't want to point that out now would you?

By the way, I'm a registered Democrat.
  • SpecWar · 2 years ago
    Eric R,

I agree with most of what you said, except for one thing: any time a major news organization sides with one political party or another, it is anything but beautiful. When they do that, they are abrogating one of the cornerstone rules of the free press, specifically the duty to act as a watchdog over all actions of government in order that the citizens may be kept apprised, honestly and without bias, of what their elected leaders are doing. I know it's now considered naive to believe in such a thing, but we can dream, can't we?
  • SpecWar · 2 years ago
BTW, I also agree that the whole premise of this website is laughable and asinine. Fox News is the only major news network that shows any balance at all, which is why most of the loons on this website hate it. They would prefer the old days when all media was biased against conservatives. Here's a question for the loons: if Fox News is as bad as you say it is, why are they at the top of the ratings, way above everyone else? Just might be because the majority of Americans like what they're getting from Fox, and you're the true fringe lunatics.

  • Unkonw · 2 years ago
I wanted to change the world, too. But i change nothing
  • Eli C. · 2 years ago
In response to EcoQuest, your points must not be ignored. The government of Iran is indeed very scary and threatening. They cannot be allowed to rise to power. Even if they weren't pursuing a militant route and funding terrorists, they are a country which has threatened Israel's extinction, held government-run executions of gay people (that's genocide, by the way) and held government sponsored Holocaust cartoon contests.

But the points of this propaganda film here can't be ignored either. The US government is filled with lies, deception and secrecy. It's no stretch to imagine that those around the Bush administration are hugely profiting from this. And the propaganda and fear-mongering are doing huge, immense discredit to the opposition of regimes like Iran's. The U.S. now has no credibility. They really are only helping Iran's cause, by lying and starting wars, capitalizing on the scary and prevalent Islamist arrogance and violence, rather than actually seeking to curb it with effective means and the support of the rest of the world. Even if the only effective means is military force (which is sometimes the case (WW2)) it cannot be done under the pretense of arrogance, lies and profiteering. The U.S. had support of the world when we went into Afghanistan, as the Taliban was a dangerous Islamist regime linked to Al-Quaeda. But when Bush wanted to go into Iraq (which he wanted to do before he even took office), it was obvious to the world that he was in it for power and profit. Suddenly, the U.S. is now the bad guy and the ravings of Islamic lunatics are justified as the cause grows.

The important thing to realize is that neither side in this conflict is good. The leaders and benefactors of both sides are profiting, while their own civilians die in wars and are economically pushed down to the point of peasants in an aristocracy.
Please, we mustn't have romantic visions of bad guys versus good guys in this conflict. The truth is, the good guys are the ones who don't seek to conquer, seek power and seek to start and sustain wars for profit.
Maybe if everyone batted down our egos and started loving and respecting human beings, things would be more peaceful. Then, Islamists wouldn't preach hatred for "western decadence" and would stop sending their children to blow up themselves to kill our children. Then the Bush Administration would not treat human lives as currency and reconsider sending our troops to kill and die for the sake of profit and power.
Unfortunately, we're in it so deep that it will take a long time for that method to work. Love and respect (for humans and the environment) can only come by teaching it to our children, so let's start that and maybe their generation will show us up.

    --Eli C.

  • Eli C. · 2 years ago
I have a few problems with Palma's comments. If you care at all about global human rights, then you cannot claim "They (Middle-Eastern countries) had a well balanced way of living well before Christianity started. There where lots of rules that appear to be harsh but that contributed to who they where as Muslims." Please read the comments of Shahab Derhami about a month ago. If EXECUTING GAY PEOPLE for being gay and MURDERING WOMEN for the crime being raped or not dressing a certain way contributes to who they are as Muslims, then we have a serious problem. Wait... aren't the Democrats and leftists in America supposed to be the pro-gay, pro-women side?

There is a prevalent perception that an invisible omnipotent group of super beings known as the wealthy elite controls the world and sets up wars in their favor. It is true that war profiteers exist, and they are certainly the main cause for obviously self-serving and otherwise worthless or harmful wars like Vietnam and Iraq. We must oppose these people who are doing so much harm to the fighting of real problems. But let's not forget that real problems exist, and they are not just made up by these war profiteers in order to go to war. Iran is a real problem, Islamism is a human rights problem. It's not Islamic traditions that are a problem, it's the government forcing of those traditions under penalty of death. I can't believe leftists want to turn their backs on women and gays and anyone who isn't a devout male Muslim in those countries under the pretense of respecting other people's culture.

Nevermind internal human rights, what about Iran's government being a religious mafia of Palestinian terrorists? Thanks to Mr. Derhami for pointing that out. Iran is not some poor country being bullied around by Western powers that have all the money in the world. Iran has a huge army and powerful backers and they must be stopped.

And here's where the problem with Fox News lies (no pun intended). They are at the mercy of the war profiteers who will not help, but hurt the opposition of Iran. Fox News, and the country it stands for, must not be allowed to lead this fight at this time. The only way America (a powerful country that would be very useful if used correctly) can be trusted to fight against Iran is if it had different leadership, with pure goals and the oversight and help of the international community. This means Bush and anyone on the bankroll of war profiteers must not be elected.

It all boils down to what Reagan did in 1988 bowing to pressure from the right: "Abolishing the Fairness Doctrine" which allowed channels like Fox News and Rush Limbaugh to exist. 92% of radio talk show hosts are right wing persuasion. Public airwaves belong to the public and the fairness doctrine must be restored. So let me see if I've got this straight: if the "Fairness" Doctrine hadn't been abolished, things would be more "fair" by denying freedom of speech to the party you oppose?

This nation has become the FOURTH REICH of NAZI FASCISM groomed by the "Skull and Bones" fraternity at Yale and other CRIMINAL ELEMENTS FEASTING OFF CADAVERS OF WAR. They are mutations for demon-ocracy (NOT MISPELLED, DELIBERTLY COINED FOR WHAT AMERICA HAS BECOME) that enshrouds the incapacitated minds of dumbdowned ignorant American society.

Hitler and his whole nazi empire reigns in Washington DC. THEY ARE ALL TRAITORS AND ARE ALL IN IT TOGETHER. They are the fraternity of warmongerers and parasites murdering your sons and daughters and destroying everything our founding fathers gave us.

Goering was right "tell the people lies, enough times and they will believe them" All of these "Skull and Bones men" (Joseph Lieberman, The Bush family, John Kerry group, etc) are parasites that have infected the minds of those too ignorant to see what is happening to this country.

Hitler himself said: "democracy can't be destroyed from the outside, but, can only be destroyed from the inside" Well, welcome to the NEW FOURTH REICH OF NAZI FASCISM in AMERICA, You people did it all through your own opprobrious ignorance, selfish greed and lust for viiolence.

We don't have any enemies. What once were our friends do. We are their enemy.

FOX NEWS AND THE REST OF THE NAZI PROPAGANDA MACHINE CALLED THE MEDIA and THE REICHSTAG OF THE SS IN WASHINGTON DC, IS HELPING YOU TO BE WORLD CONQUERERS AND YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS ARE PAYING THE PRICE FOR YOU AND YOUR GREED AND LUST FOR FASCISM.

Congratulations, you have sold your freedom for a bowl of "lentil stew", and have raised a flag with a "swastika" over America. Your god is SATAN THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMONS. AMERICA HAS BECOME GLOBAL MURDERERS AND HAS SUNK TO THE LOWEST PITS OF DEBAUCHERY THROUGH HYPOCRISY AND LAWLESSNESS.

We live in a state of corporate fascism, treating this planet as business in liquidation, exhausting its resources and destroying its environment. I hear you Volfey. At least the Germans don't name fighter jets after the their womens armpits. You know like "Harrier" jets or after their dogfight "bitches" that bury their sons and daughters "bones" in military cemetarys because the street corners are getting over crowded with their "Enola Gays" !!! Darn I hope the world wakes up and see where these "pukes" come from.

Yes, yes! What a wonderful endeavor. By all means, American, invade Iran. In case you need more compelling reasons with which to justify said invasion, simply read:

    1) Iranians think Americans suck
    2) Iran is also thinking about building the world's tallest Ferris Wheel
    3) Iranian women make apple pie better than American women
    4) Ahmadinejad struts around like he owns the place
    5) So WE can get back to building a nuclear weapon

Please, America. I implore you. Take your troops from Iraq and invade Iran. We can't take any more.

Better check again. I'm not married. Yet another mistake I've wisely avoided so far. You should be more careful. If it's not your wife, and it's definitely not mine, then you're not really sure who you're sleeping with! You might want to get checked out at the local free clinic. Don't make the mistake of waiting for Hillary's national health care plan. You could die of an STD before that happens!

    Sorry specwar,

I was wrong again, but, I am humbled. It must have been your mother, since no democrat would have an illegitimate son and you don't know who your daddy is, maybe your conservative arrogance is from the "condoms" found in the Bush adminstration. DNA testing will reveal your daddy for you.

    L64191911B,

You're wrong yet again, but what else should I expect from a Democrap? You must be doing your own mother instead of screwing her by taking more taxes from her. As for Democrats not having illegitimate children, that's laughable! Your party is the one that denigrates marriage and distributes condoms in schools so the little tykes can learn about sex as early as possible. As for arrogance, you must be confusing that with the truth. I know it's painful to be shown the truth while you're wearing your blinders and closing your eyes so tight, but we're hoping you will someday wake up and see the light. I'm not holding my breath for that, though.

For the the first time you are wrong spermhead. If it weren't for republicans and democrats like you going around looking in trash bins to find used condoms to kiss, in hopes of kissing your mom and dad at the same time, the world wouldn't be in the mess its in. Spermhead, keep the faith, your mother is almost done screwing the pack. Check out your local trash can, you probably are sleeping with the bitch as you are typing.

Kissing used condoms? So that's what you do in your spare time, when you're not displaying your political ignorance. I'll bet you haven't had pussy since pussy had you. You really should try to get out of your parent's basement more often. I've done more to make the world a safer place for morons like you than you'll ever do in your entire lifetime! Will the release of the US intelligence report, advising that Iran stopped its nuclear weapons program four years ago, halt the warmongering rhetoric of FOX (and the Bush administration)?

Or will they (IMHO a more likely outcome) simply play it down and come up with another ludicrous reason to start another disastrous war?

The only reason liberals like you make excuses for Iran is because you hate Jews and support Holocaust deniers.
  • mdefalla · 1 year ago
I love the people who comment, "If you don't support bombing Iran you support the Holocaust!" That's quite the non sequitur. Yes, the fact that I don't want thousands more civilians carpet bombed for some PNAC pipe dream means that I support unrelated incidents that also killed innocent civilians. Curious logic, that.

This is what happens when you watch too much Fox News. You mistake loud, irrational, emotionally charged temper tantrums as reasoned discourse.

America is a country with only to political parties with similar thoughts and ideas... that's pretty close to a single party - like Iran, former Iraq, North Korea, Mosambique, Cuba and other.
  • Michael · 1 year ago
Im from London and I see fox news over here and can clearly see that the channel is extremely biased, hypocritical and constantly serves right wing propaganda. I did not support the Iraq war because there was no evidence that Iraq had WMD. Iraq was doing everything possible to cooperate with the UN, Hans Blix described the cooperation as pro-active just a few weeks before the war broke out. However, we must not make a mistake with Iran, there is alot of evidence to suggest that they are developing Nuclear Weapons, they have abundant natural resources, yet they are enriching uranium on a mass scale, they refuse to answer many question about their nuclear programme and the leaders are making alot of suspicious noises and threats to other countries. Also, it is no myth that Iran is a supporter of terror, they openly admit to it. All I want to say is, yes Iraq was an almighty cock up, however this does not mean we should turn a blind eye to Iran because I strongly believe that they could be a serious threat to world peace.

Being a CEO one would think I should (or as FOX) states, I should be pandering to the right? This is exactly what FOX does. The distort and spin people into believing Democrats will tax the rich and be weak on the war.
The war is something I as a CEO worry about because it is killing business as people worry about or face the real prospect of a Republican getting in office and implementing a draft.
The right wing core running are head hunters and will keep this country at war forever. Except Ron Paul who wants to police the middle east.
I have to kids and will not subject them to war.
Think about this... If the GOP loses this election, FOX will be out of business folks. Access to the White House will be denied. Guests from the new administration would boycott them. The would basically be forced to go back to journalisim.
No matter who wins on the democratic side, if Hillary would win and select Obama to be her vice president, they would win out easily and Fox knows this, and so does the GOP.
Sorry for the vent guys, but I wanna thank Foxattacks for the hard work they put in and do for the people. You guys exposed Fox and please keep it up.

Way down there at Rocky Lore: Iranians, though they live in the Middle East, are not entirely Jewish, nor predominantly so. Although I have many Jewish friends, and I do not consider myself anti-Semitic in the least, I question your reasoning.
Besides that, there are worse things than Holocaust DENIERS. Have you heard of neo-naziism? It is growing in America. This ENDORSES the Holocaust.
Not only are your facts wrong, your attack is wrong.

Its not only Iran its the whole Islamic world that is now totally opposing US policy in this region. There are some interesting websites that could help us get an inside picture of Iran which I think is very essential. www.ebtekarm.blogspot.com
